Our Pastor

Pastor Tilburt has been Pastor at Mammoth Baptist Church since November 2001. He graduated from Grand Rapids Baptist College (now Cornerstone University) with a BRE degree in 1967. After that, he served as youth and assistant pastor in churches in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Laster he moved to the Upper Pennisula of Michigan where he served as pastor in Ontonagon, MI and Lake Odessa MI. In years past, when Pastor Tilburt was not serving as a pastor, he was still active as a Sunday School teacher, deacon, or interim pastor.

Pastor Tilburt was married in August 1964 to Thelma, and has 3 sons (Mark, Bryan, and Daron). They also have 8 grandchildren.
